After the success of last year’s documentary, WBBC have produced another documentary for this year’s Fairport’s Cropredy Convention music festival. Last year’s programme ranked numbers 1 and 2 in separate reviews for viewing figures of documentary shows on Sky, so there is a tough task to produce that again this year! The programme documented the performances of artists at the festival, of whom include Seasick Steve, The Coral and UB40, alongside the event’s founders Fairport Convention, as well as having interviews backstage with the artists after they have performed. Along with the main show, WBBC also produced two further 90-minute programmes featuring both Seasick Steve and Fairport Convention in concert. Produced for Sky Arts, the Cropredy 2011 documentary was broadcasted in Saturday 3rd September 2011, along with Fairport Convention In Concert, with Seasick Steve In Concert going out on Friday 9th at 23.15. However, if you missed any of the showings, all 3 of the programmes are scheduled to be repeated many times on the Sky Arts channels over the coming months, so be sure to tune in!
